AEROSIL® is produced worldwide with a consistent high level of product quality at eight Evonik Industries sites in Germany, Japan, China, France, Belgium, and the United States. It is supplied to almost 100 countries worldwide, using customized logistics concepts to ensure reliable delivery. An essential part of our philosophy is worldwide technical support and advice for tailor-made solutions with AEROSIL®. 1944: Industrial production of AEROSIL® starts in Rheinfelden/Germany.

1966: The Nippon Aerosil joint venture is established in Yokkaichi/Japan with today’s Mitsubishi Materials Corp.
1970: Start of production in Antwerp/Belgium

1976: Start of production in Mobile (Alabama), USA.

1992: The first fully integrated production facility for AEROSIL® is set up in Waterford (New York), USA.
